The original Poly Bridge launched in 2016 to a lot of success. Dry Cactus has a fun game on its hands, even if it is an imperfect one. What starts as a simple task usually ends up as a chaotic mess, and that is by design. The game tasks players to create a bridge to help a vehicle pass over a body of water, under flying planes, around boats, and more. Poly Bridge 2 is a simulation puzzle game developed by Dry Cactus. But with dedicated puzzle games, like Poly Bridge 2, nailing the design of the puzzle mechanics and creating an interesting game mechanic is that much more important. Inside of games like The Legend Of Zelda or Uncharted, these challenges are often an excellent change of pace from the slashing and shooting of bad guys. We enjoy the quick levels and how you can just ignore the budget on some levels.Ĥ/5 Rating – Good game, good creativity, good for short sessions.Some of the best fun in gaming can be the eureka moments of joy after a long and challenging puzzle. Suspension Bridges and Drawbridges are quite hard to design and it is still fun to see creations break easily. Bigger and weirder vehicles to get across even weirder bridges. It built upon Poly Bridge and has definitely took those concepts further.
We can see the potential in the game and love the growth it has done since its first version.
Weird and wacky versions of Drawbridges and other hydraulic contraptions are possible. This adds an extra level of complexity possible in your bridge design. The PC Version includes the ability to play custom created levels and upload your own too. With all new leaderboards adding to the level progress, complete a level and see the other possible solutions you could of made. It does bring forth new levels, new mechanics and a custom “deterministic physics engine”. Build ever increasingly weird bridges if you wish but make sure to get the physics right to it. Poly Bridge 2 starts off with the straight forward premise of last edition, build bridges to budget and hope they do not break. Now number 2 is here, is it as acclaimed as before?
